Event Description

Humanitarian funding has long been the focus of reform efforts.

From the commitments made in the Good Humanitarian Donorship agreements in 2003, to the expansion of the Central Emergency Revolving Fund, the establishment of the Common Humanitarian Fund, the Emergency Response Funds, and more recent attempts to create country-based pooled funding mechanisms, humanitarian donors and agencies have continually sought to reform the funding landscape in the search of greater predictability, flexibility and need responsiveness. This panel will contrast the different initiatives in this area, and seek to identify facilitating factors for change.
