With the global humanitarian crises at unprecedented levels, UNFPA Evaluation Office has undertaken the first independent evaluation of the UNFPA capacity in humanitarian  action, which takes stock of the humanitarian effort of the organization over almost a decade. The evaluation assesses the organizational capacity of UNFPA in humanitarian action globally, in terms of both preparedness and response. UNFPA Humanitarian programming was evaluated for its relevance, effectiveness, coverage, connectedness and alignment with humanitarian principles. The evaluation also draws lessons from past and present UNFPA humanitarian work and proposes recommendations for future humanitarian programming priorities at UNFPA.

Note: The executive board paper can currently be found under 'key findings' and the EQA under 'methodology'.
